Tom Fallon

Tom was appointed General Manager of Decmil Australia in April 2010.

He joins Decmil Australia with more than 20 years’ experience in the engineering and construction industry.

He has held senior management positions with a range of public and private companies including Thiess Pty Ltd, Clough Engineering and Macmahon Contractors.

Prior to commencing his role at Decmil, Tom was National Operations Manager for Leed Engineering where he was instrumental in more than doubling the annual turnover revenues and maintaining profitability targets.  He helped create capability within the business to develop opportunities in niche markets.

In addition to extensive operational and project experience, Mr Fallon holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science Building (Engineering).





Lance van Drunick

Lance joined Decmil in 2008 as Construction Manager and in September 2009 was promoted to Operations Manager.

His primary role at Decmil is the effective and profitable management of Decmil's project delivery. His responsibilities include assembling and managing personnel, instigating operational, functional and management control processes and safety, industrial relations and environmental management.

He also maintains and controls project reporting as well as suggesting innovative and cost effective methods to improve productivity and profitability.

Previously Lance has worked for APP Corporation, The Lark Group and Unitech Construction Management Ltd in senior construction management positions.





Kym Sturmer

Kym has been the Human Resources Manager at Decmil since 2008.

Kym is responsible for centralising Decmil's recruitment strategies and mobilisation processes as well as employee relations, procedures and policies.

She works closely with the HR team to progress retention and succession strategies as well as developing new programs such as indigenous engagement in the Pilbara region, a graduate scheme, apprenticeships and traineeships.

Prior to joining Decmil, Kym worked in business and organisational development roles at John Holland Ltd for 10 years.





Jeremy Knowles

Jeremy has been the Corporate HSE Manager at Decmil since 2006.

He works with the management team to continuously improve Decmil's AS 4801 and ISO 14001 certified corporate management systems to ensure the company continues to build upon its strong HSE commitments and culture.

He also manages the company's HSE team and corporate HSE systems.

Jeremy's previous experience includes senior HSE positions within Thiess and Coca Cola Amatil.

He is currently working towards a Masters Degree in HSE from Curtin University and is an approved Noise Officer and qualified Surface Ventilation Technician.





Mark Lee

Mark joined Decmil 2001 as an Estimator and Project Manager, and was promoted to the position of Estimating Manager in 2006.

He is responsible for the preparation of EOIs and tenders in addition to final contract negotiations with clients.

He has managed and implemented numerous multi-million dollar projects for the company.

Between 1996 and 2000, he worked as the contracts administrator and estimator for Geraldton Building Company in the Pilbara region. During this time, he project managed infrastructure works, car dumpers, mass concrete and building works on projects to the value of $5M for BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto.





Steve Taylor

Steve Taylor joined Decmil Australia in 2003 as the Contracts Manager.

His primary role at Decmil is to manage the contract administration for the company’s projects, focusing on the timely resolution of complex ‘behind the scenes’ issues.

Steve has worked on a number of Decmil’s high profile projects, including Harding Dam, Finucane Island, Brockman HV workshop and Pluto LNG Project.

Previously, Steve worked for Consolidated Constructions as a Contract Administrator.





Jenni Campbell

Jenni has been at Decmil since 2006 and is currently employed as the Business Systems Manager.

She oversees and drives the company's integrated business management system ensuring compliance with all Decmil's accreditations and regulatory requirements.

She also manages the auditing program and, in conjunction with the HSE Manager, co-ordinates the continuous improvement program.

Previously, Jenni worked as the Commercial Manager for Frogmat Environmental Pty Ltd and was the Lead Researcher in resources marketing at Resources & Technology Marketing Services Pty Ltd.





Alison Thompson

Alison has been with the Decmil Group since 2007, before taking up her current position Finance Manager for Decmil Australia in 2009.

Alison is responsible for ensuring the integrity of Decmil's internal and external financial information, ensuring all statutory obligations are met as well as managing and mentoring the finance team.  She is also involved in managing the Group's funding requirements and insurance program.

Alison is a Chartered Accountant with 10 years post qualification experience.  She has extensive technical experience from her training with PricewaterhouseCoopers and her involvement with the Institute of Chartered Accountants as a CA Program Focus Session Facilitator.

Prior to joining Decmil, Alison has held senior positions in similar companies such as UK based construction firm Balfour Beatty.





Craig Rydquist

Craig joined Decmil Australia in March 2010 with more than 13 years’ experience in project and business management.

He is responsible for building and cementing relations with current clients and establishing new business relationships within the resources, construction and public sectors.

Experienced in the delivery of large complex projects from concept and design through to construction and delivery, Craig has worked at a senior management and operational level for several multinational firms.

Prior to joining Decmil, Craig worked for Leighton Contracting as an Alliance Manager and Coffey International as International Business Development Manager. Craig was also Regional Manager for HASSELL Pty Ltd (Architecture, Planning, Landscape, Interiors).
