We were commissioned to construct a new camp at BHP Billiton Iron Ore’s Rapid Growth Project 5.
Responsible for building and installing a range of facilities for the new camp including:
- The construction of earthworks, high and low voltage power, sewerage and sewerage pumping stations, water supply and reticulation and communications services;
- The transportation, installation and connection of services to 352 standard construction rooms, five laundries, two bulk linen stores, gazebos, verandas and footpaths;
- The transportation, installation and connection of services to central facilities, including the dry mess dining area, wet mess cool room, beer garden, freezers, cool room, dry goods store, gymnasium, crib preparation room, ice room, toilet, communication rooms and maintenance shed; and
- The transportation, installation and connection of services to engineering, procurement and
contract management (EPCM) facilities.
