Newman Hub - Stage 2 EPCM Site Facilities and Jimblebar EPCM

Project Service: Industrial construction and non process infrastructure
Client: BHP Billiton
Location: 50 km east of Newman, Western Australia
Start Date: 2007
Completion Date: 2008

We were contracted to design and construct Stage 2 engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) facilities at BHP Billiton’s Newman Hub . These facilities included a 1200 square metre workshop as well as temporary offices and ablutions for the car dumper, train load-out, and stockyard and security post.

In addition, we were awarded Separable Portion 9, as a variation to the original contract, to decommission, remove, relocate and re-install 11 temporary buildings from the Ore Body 18 EPCM facility and the Ore Body 25 Kurra Village to the Jimblebar mine site which is owned by BHP Billiton.
