Karijini Lodge - Refurbishment

Project Service: Accommodation
Client: Rio Tinto
Location: Next to Karijini National Park, near Tom Price, Western Australia
Start Date: 2006
Completion Date: 2007

We were commissioned by Rio Tinto to refurbish the existing Karijini Lodge near Karijini National Park, Tom Price.

This complex refurbishment of the lodge involved removing the internal walkway and redesigning 110 rooms to include individual bathrooms. The building was redesigned to include external balconies and rooms were completely refitted.

This project was completed in two sections. The first block was completed within a challenging timeframe for scheduled staff relocations and the final handover was in March 2005.
