Cloudbreak rail camps

Project Service: Accommodation
Client: FMG
Location: 260 km south west of Port Hedland, Western Australia
Start Date: 2007
Completion Date: 2007

The temporary accommodation camps were situated along the new Fortescue Metals Group rail line between Port Hedland and the Cloudbreak iron ore mine, approximately 260 km south west of Port Hedland.

The camps provided temporary accommodation for the workforce constructing the rail line and sidings.

We installed three rail camps (line camp 3, line camp 4 and line camp 6). Each camp consisted of 24 four-person accommodation units, wet and dry mess, administration office, communication rooms, laundry, administration office and first aid facilities.
