Decmil Australia has introduced the SHIELD program to assist in keeping the importance of adhering to the highest level of health and safety practice at the 'top of mind' for every Decmil employee.
SHIELD is an acronym that captures the company's ethos of the importance of Safety and Health In Every Level at Decmil.
The SHIELD program is one of the innovative initiatives Decmil has developed to consistenly promote health and safety in pursuit of its 'zero harm' target.
Risk Management
Decmil Australia actively seeks to identify and manage risks on every project it undertakes. To achieve this, risk management procedures are integrated in all our key organisational processes and include the following key steps:
- Identify – all potential risks;
- Examine – the frequency, probability and impact of each risk;
- Evaluate – the potential exposure posed by each risk;
- Mitigate – take action to limite the exposure to an acceptable level;
- Monitor – continual reassessment and review.
