We are the industry leader in design and construction of accommodation facilities – from fly camps to fully-equipped “resort style” villages for more than 3,500 people built with community amenities which rival small towns.

Work in this area includes all aspects of project development - from design, site preparation and excavation works, to bulk earthworks, civil works and construction.
Through innovative design, we create world class accommodation incorporating communal facilities including well appointed dining rooms and state-of-the art cinemas.

One of our differentiators in the market is our attention to detail, such as designing villages with communal dining facilities and BBQ areas adjacent to or overlooking sports ovals that sets a Decmil designed and built village apart from the rest and makes a home away from home for so many people.

Construction of sports facilities has been a key feature of our recent villages. Including lap pools, tennis/basketball courts, gymnasiums, indoor cricket pitches, golf driving ranges, squash courts and sports ovals we design and plan accommodation that not only provides a bed but also other avenues for people to maintain healthy pursuits and personal development.

Integration of catering and facility management specialists within our project design process has contributed to improving the functionality and therefore reducing operating expenditure over the lifespan of the project.

Subject to client and site requirements, our projects incorporate a mixture of modular, in-situ buildings and flat-pack construction.  We develop designs that minimise costs, maximises site utilisation and empowerlocal and Indigenous participation towards delivering projects.

We specialise in the procurement and logistics of modular buildings from overseas and by the end of 2012 we would have delivered over 6,000 rooms utilising overseas supplied accommodation.

Decmil Australia was the first company to build two-story modular accommodation for the mining industry in Australia with wide verandahs which minimise the walking distances in larger villages and, with extensive landscaping appropriate to the environmental conditions and specialist lighting we’ve succeeded in creating a resort-style feel for the people working in sometimes remote and very often harsh climates.
