Decmil Australia has provided engineering, construction, maintenance and industrial services to the resources industry for more than 30 years and has been associated with nearly every mining and energy project in North West Australia.

Founded in 1979, Decmil Australia initially provided construction contracting in the Pilbara region of Western Australia from its office in Karratha.

Prominent early projects for companies such as Woodside, BHP Billiton and Hamersley Iron were for contracts in the value range of less than $20 million.

Completing these projects to a high standard cemented our reputation as a reliable partner that delivers quality engineering construction, maintenance and industrial services, and we continue to work with these clients today.

In 1984, our Perth office was established, and in June 2007 the company was sold to a public company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange that was to become Decmil Group Limited.

In recent years, we have expanded our capabilities and can now undertake major multi-disciplinary projects valued at more than $100 million in our key target sectors of resources, oil and gas, water resources and defence facilities across Australia.
